Following completion of degrees in Law and Arts (Psychology) at the University of Queensland in 2007, Rebecca worked as a Judge’s Associate before joining the firm.

This gave her a special insight into the day to day workings of the criminal justice system and influenced her decision to practise exclusively as a criminal lawyer.

Rebecca brings to her practice an understanding of the special stresses which clients experience in their interactions with the police and the courts and feels it is important to provide support and information to assist their decision-making.

“I enjoy helping my clients navigate a way through their legal problems, not just in aiding their understanding of the court processes and the options available to them but in advocating effectively in the courtroom to ensure my clients achieve the best possible outcome.”

Rebecca is based in our Brisbane office and appears in all courts in the Brisbane area.

She has a reputation for careful and strategic analysis, effective negotiation and strong courtroom advocacy.

Rebecca is President of the Queensland College of Law’s Alumni Association. She enjoys the intellectual challenges of legal practice and is currently undertaking a Master of Laws.
